When is custom software worth it?

What is a custom web application?
Software that runs in the browser and is built for a specific process in your company, instead of you adapting the process to off-the-shelf software. Typical examples are customer portals, internal tools, calculator and booking platforms or integrations between existing systems. We usually build them with Laravel.
What does custom software development cost?
It depends on the scope. Small automations start at a few thousand euros, custom web applications from €10,000 – typical projects run €15,000–60,000. We give you a realistic estimate after the initial call.
How long does development take?
A small tool or API integration: 2–4 weeks. A complex web application: 2–6 months. We work iteratively, so you see first results early.
Why Laravel?
Laravel is one of the most mature PHP frameworks. It is well documented, has a large community and enables clean, maintainable code structures. For most web applications it's the best choice.
Can we continue development ourselves later?
Yes. We document our code and build in a way that another developer (or you yourself) could take over later. You are not dependent on us.
What happens after launch?
That's up to you. We offer maintenance contracts but are also available for one-off requests. No lock-in contracts.

How these reviews get here
The reviews come from our Google Business Profile. We pull them through Google's interface from time to time and store them unchanged in this page, rather than querying them on every visit. We do not write the wording ourselves and we do not change it; long texts are shortened for display, with a link to the full review on Google.
Once a project is finished we ask clients for a review. There is nothing in return – no discount, no voucher, no prize draw – and we ask regardless of how happy someone was.
We do not select by star rating. Which individual reviews Google hands over is Google's choice. The average and the total above are the profile's figures as of October 1, 2026 and cover every review, including the ones not shown here.
Whether the reviewers really were our clients we do not verify ourselves – we cannot. Google states that it acts against fake reviews; we have no influence on that.
