Custom web applications, integrations & portals

A Laravel agency for Germany, Austria and Switzerland – remote, but close.

When standard software isn't enough, we build the solution with Laravel: client portals, APIs, multi-tenant platforms. Location-independent for businesses across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

When a Laravel agency is the right partner

Laravel plays to its strengths where custom logic, integrations and platforms matter – not for the mere display of content.

Your systems need to talk to each other

DATEV, SAP, Sage, an ERP or a payment provider – the integration keeps failing on data models, authentication or performance. A clean Laravel layer connects what didn't fit together before.

Standard software doesn't map your process

You bend around the software instead of the other way around, working with workarounds and Excel bridges. A custom web application maps your exact workflow – not some vendor's.

One platform, many tenants

SaaS, white-label or municipal platform: multi-tenant architecture with full control over domain routing, branding and data isolation. We built exactly that for municipal calculators.

The legacy system blocks new features

An ageing PHP application can no longer be extended. We modernise it step by step onto a current Laravel stack, without stopping operations.

Maybe a CMS is enough after all? Our Laravel or WordPress decision guide helps draw the line – honestly, including in the direction where we build nothing.

What we build with Laravel

From a single integration to a tenant-capable SaaS platform.

Custom web applications

Client portals, dashboards, internal tools – shaped around your process rather than a vendor's feature list.

Commissioning a customer portal →

API & integration development

REST APIs and connections to ERP, CRM, payment and third-party systems. We wrap external services so they can be tested and swapped out.

Example: payment status as a state machine →

Multi-tenant & SaaS

Tenant-capable platforms with clean data isolation and domain routing. We settle the tenancy question before the first line of code, because it is hard to retrofit.

Laravel multi-tenancy explained →

Filament admin panels

Maintainable admin interfaces for your application: roles, lists, forms, exports – without a second frontend project.

Legacy modernisation

Lift existing PHP applications onto Laravel step by step. Old and new run side by side for a while, so operations never stop.

Maintenance & evolution

Security updates, version upgrades, monitoring, functional extensions – including for Laravel applications we didn't build.

How a Laravel project works with us

Six steps, all of them possible remotely. The most important decisions happen right at the start – where they still cost little.

  1. Initial call · 30 minutes, by video

You tell us which bottleneck needs to go. We ask questions and tell you honestly whether you need custom development at all. If a standard product or the system you already have solves the problem, you'll hear that from us – even if it means we build nothing.

  2. Concept workshop · two to three hours, remote

We walk through your processes: who works with the application, which roles exist, which systems need to be connected, do you need several tenants? These four questions decide most of the cost. That's why we settle them at the start and not in the small print.

  3. Quote · in writing, with scope

You get a fixed price for the scope of the first version agreed in the workshop. Anything added later we estimate individually and bill at the hourly rate or as a change order – you decide beforehand.

  4. Development in stages · with a staging environment

You see a working version on a test environment early and try it with real workflows. Feedback goes into the next stage, not after launch. A sensibly scoped first version is often live within two to four months.

  5. Launch · planned, not spontaneous

Data migration, accounts for the first users, error tracking switched on. We pick the date so that we have time to watch closely in the days after – not right before a holiday or a weekend.

  6. Operations & evolution · for as long as you want

Security updates, Laravel upgrades, monitoring and new features. An application that carries customer data is never quite finished – it needs someone who knows it.

Why location doesn't matter for Laravel projects

Custom software development happens in the code, not the meeting room. Whether you are in Munich, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna or Zurich: we work remote and deliver the same quality as an agency around the corner. The paths are often even shorter, because you talk to the developer directly instead of an account manager.

That doesn't mean anonymous. You have a fixed contact, regular meetings and full visibility into progress at all times. If an on-site meeting makes sense, say for a concept workshop with several departments, we come – but it is rarely needed for project success.

Laravel agency, freelancer or your own team?

Not every Laravel project belongs with an agency. The honest trade-off before you ask for a quote – from anyone.

Comparison: Laravel agency, freelancer and in-house team
Criterion Agency Freelancer Own team
Resilience Several people know the code Depends on one person Good with at least two developers
Availability at start After quote and planning Often quick, depending on workload Only after recruiting and onboarding
Breadth of expertise Backend, frontend, design, operations Usually one focus As broad as the team
Cost Project price or hourly rate Usually a lower hourly rate Salaries, even when there's nothing to build
Best fit when … a clearly scoped project with operations afterwards is coming up a manageable job without a long operations phase is coming up the software is your core product and keeps growing

If the software is your core product, an in-house team usually pays off in the long run. An agency can still make sense: for the first version, for the architecture, or as reinforcement until the team is in place. What the calculation “hire or bring in a partner” looks like from an agency's point of view is covered in In-house developer or white-label partner?.

Six questions that reveal a good Laravel agency

Ask them to us – and to every other agency you compare. The answers quickly show who can still run an application five years from now.

Question 1

How do you test?

A good answer names automated tests that run with every change – not “we test thoroughly by hand”. For us that means Pest tests, with browser tests for the critical flows where needed.

Question 2

How do you handle Laravel upgrades?

Laravel ships a new major version every year, and older versions only get security fixes for a limited time. Ask whether upgrades are planned or whether the application stays on its version after launch.

Question 3

Who owns the code and the repository?

Get it in writing: who owns the source code, where the repository lives and who has access to servers and credentials. Otherwise every change of partner leaves you depending on the old agency. With us, you get the source code and the repository handed over on request.

Question 4

Who actually works on my project?

Ask whether the people in the meeting are the ones writing the code, or whether the job goes to subcontractors. With us you talk directly to the developers.

Question 5

Which integrations have you built?

Three concrete systems with a real project behind them say more than a wall of logos. Ask what went wrong along the way and how it was solved.

Question 6

What happens after launch?

Is there maintenance, during which hours, and what does it cost? An agency that only wants to build is the wrong partner for a business application.

What goes into every one of our Laravel projects

Not an add-on package, but standard. These things decide whether an application stays affordable after launch or eats up maintenance budget.

Automated tests

Pest tests run with every change. What's tested doesn't break unnoticed with the next update.

Code reviews on GitHub

No code goes live unseen. Every change is traceable, with a reason.

Error tracking from day one

Sentry reports errors from production before your users pick up the phone.

Documentation

Architecture, integrations and operations are written down in Confluence – not just in one developer's head.

Hosting in Germany

On German servers on request, or in your existing infrastructure.

Dependencies under control

When a third-party library has a bug, we don't wait months for the release – we patch it in a targeted way.

A real-world example of the last point: Composer patches in Laravel – fix vendor code without a fork.

What Laravel development costs

The biggest cost drivers are integrations, the role model and whether you need several tenants – not the number of pages. That's why we quote the exact price after the concept workshop, but give you the order of magnitude here.

Custom web application

from 10,000 €

Portal, internal tool, integration. Typical projects range from 15,000–60,000 €.

Multi-tenant platform

from 25,000 €

SaaS, white-label, municipal solutions – one codebase, many tenants with separated data.

Hourly rate

120 €/h

For extensions, maintenance, consulting and taking over existing Laravel applications.

All prices net. The full overview of all services is on our pricing page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work across all of Germany or only in your region?

Across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We are based in Middle Franconia but work fully remote and support Laravel projects throughout the DACH region. Location is irrelevant for custom web applications: collaboration runs on regular calls, a shared project board and transparent progress updates.

How does remote collaboration work?

Structured and transparent. We use Jira and Confluence for planning and documentation, Git for the code, and regular alignment meetings. You see early results and always know what we are working on. One fixed contact instead of rotating ones – usually the developer who knows your project directly.

Do you also build Laravel projects in Austria and Switzerland?

Yes. We work across the entire German-speaking region. For clients in Austria and Switzerland the same model applies as in Germany: remote, with a German-speaking contact and, on request, hosting in the desired legal jurisdiction.

What does a Laravel web application cost?

A custom web application starts at 10,000 €. Typical projects range from 15,000–60,000 €, depending on integrations, role model, multi-tenancy and test coverage. Multi-tenant platforms start at 25,000 €. We quote the exact price after a concept workshop, as a fixed price for the first version.

How long does it take to build a Laravel application?

A sensibly scoped first version – login, core feature, one integration – is often live within two to four months. What makes it longer is mostly integrations with systems that lack a good API, and trying to build everything at once. We almost always recommend starting with the feature that removes the biggest bottleneck, then extending in stages.

Do you take over existing Laravel projects from other agencies?

Yes. We first look at the code, dependencies, tests and the Laravel version, and tell you what we find: what should be tackled right away and what can wait. We bill this review by effort at our hourly rate of 120 €. Afterwards you decide whether we take over maintenance and further development.

Do you also work as a Laravel partner for agencies?

Yes. Agencies without their own backend capacity bring us in for web applications, integrations and custom logic – openly as a technology partner or white-label, whichever suits the project. Details are on our page for agencies.

How does support work after launch?

Maintenance covers security updates, Laravel upgrades, monitoring and smaller changes, billed as an hour package or a flat fee. Our service hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. Fixed response times are agreed in the maintenance contract. Outside service hours we can usually still be reached, but we don't promise it.

Why Laravel and not WordPress, Strapi or Node?

Laravel fits custom web applications, platforms with bespoke logic, integration-heavy projects and multi-tenant setups. We use WordPress for content-driven sites with editorial needs. If your project goes beyond displaying content, Laravel is usually the more robust choice. We decide by use case, not by favourite technology.

Client reviews

What our clients say

Straight from our Google Business Profile – quoted verbatim, not filtered by star rating.

How these reviews get here

The reviews come from our Google Business Profile. We pull them through Google's interface from time to time and store them unchanged in this page, rather than querying them on every visit. We do not write the wording ourselves and we do not change it; long texts are shortened for display, with a link to the full review on Google.

Once a project is finished we ask clients for a review. There is nothing in return – no discount, no voucher, no prize draw – and we ask regardless of how happy someone was.

We do not select by star rating. Which individual reviews Google hands over is Google's choice. The average and the total above are the profile's figures as of October 1, 2026 and cover every review, including the ones not shown here.

Whether the reviewers really were our clients we do not verify ourselves – we cannot. Google states that it acts against fake reviews; we have no influence on that.
